Exhibitor Information

We are now taking exhibitor applications for RICE 2023! Apply now through December 23rd here: https://forms.gle/Xd5AQa3cMfk9RMTW6

RICE’s mission is to provide space for comics creators to sell their work, connect with audiences, and with fellow artists. If you are a comics-maker, we would love to have you involved!

Another one of our goals is to create a show that demonstrates the depth and breadth of the comics medium. We want to be a place where the vast diversity of genres and voices in comics are on full display.

Exhibitor Guidelines:

1) As this is a comics show, exhibitors should be making comics! As part of the application process we need to be able to read and review your comics. In the application we will ask for a link to a shared folder or file or portfolio website that displays your comics in all their glory! We can’t consider you without this very important part!

2) This also means you must have comics to sell! We want to cultivate a comics event that puts comics at the center, this means we want comics to count for at least half your show material.

3) RICE is a comic show that is going to happen every year- which means we encourage folks to make new stuff each year. This makes each show an exciting time to debut new work, and gets the audience charged up seeing all your new beautiful comics! You can do it, we believe in you, etc!

Costs:

Half Table Space (3 feet): $20

Full Table Space (6 feet): $40

COVID Safety Considerations: Full tables can have a max of 2 people behind them in order to allow for as much distancing possible between exhibitors. Due to the crowded nature of this event, all exhibitors must remain masked.

Meals:

In our aim to make RICE as comfortable as possible for exhibitors, we have arranged for food vouchers for all exhibitors. These will be for a set dollar amount and can be spent at The Mercantile On Main, a restaurant and cafe hub in the same building as our show. They offer a variety of food and drink options, and have vegan/gluten free options.
